Burj Dubai

Burj Dubai termed as world's tallest building and an upcoming landmark in Dubai has already started to create its vibe all around the world. Scheduled to complete in 2009 this building is speculated to break all the previous records of man-made heights. Though the official height of the building is still undisclosed by the construction company named Emaar but assumptions says that the final height will be above 800m upon completion.

The building will have more than 160 habitual floors and above 3,595,100 sq ft of floor area. Major portion of the building will be rented to Dubai’s luxury hotels and to accommodate private apartment owners. The business sector will have its own exclusive area within the building.

Dubai is world’s fastest growing city and Dubai government is focusing more on free trade, retail and other tourism related business, many luxurious hotels and sky scrapers have come around the city and they have completely changed the outlook of city centre. With an effort to enhance Dubai as global free trade zone, government of Dubai has invested massively building high rise towers and different other real estate infrastructure among which Burj Dubai is the most prominent feature.

Construction in the downtown Burj Dubai is in full speed. The Dubai Mall and other prominent residential apartments are expected to start their operation from late 2008 while the Burj Dubai tower itself will kick off only in 2009.
